We, the Muslims, have undeniably lacked in executing what our religion teaches, and what Almighty expects us to do in this transitory world. In our struggle to achieve personal benefits, we have ignored what our Muslim brethren are going through. We have failed over 30,000 innocent Palestinians murdered by the Zionist state. We have failed those who, rather miraculously, are still alive in Gaza, but are waiting for death.
They all looked at us and thought we would at least raise our voices. We can see little children waiting for the next blast, asking why the children were being killed. We cover our ears and eyes from the sorrows that surround them. When night falls and we get ready for bed, do we spare a moment to think about those lying on cold dark cement floors, fearing for their lives?
We do not make our children realise what is going on in this unethical and shameless world that we live in. We just sip our coffee and move on. As long as we have the best, the rest can starve or get martyred brutally. We, as a nation, have simply failed. We should at the very least join the boycott movement with an unwavering commitment. Let us do it.
