Pakistan defeats India in Karate Combat 45 competition in Dubai

ISLAMABAD: In a thrilling showdown at the Karate Combat 45 competition in Dubai, Pakistan emerged victorious over India with a score of 2-1 on Saturday night. Shahzaib Rind showcased an impressive performance, overpowering India’s Rana Singh to secure the decisive win.

Karate Combat, known for its full-contact karate bouts, hosts professional martial arts events globally, bringing together skilled fighters from various weight divisions and countries.

The contest between Pakistan and India reached its climax in the final round after Rizwan Ali of Pakistan and Himanshu Kaushik of India claimed victory in the initial rounds.

Karate Combat enthusiasts witnessed an intense battle as Shahzaib Rind’s unstoppable prowess inside the pit led Pakistan to triumph over India with a resounding 2-1 scoreline.

The competition commenced with Rizwan Ali facing India’s Pawan Gupta, where Ali’s dominant performance resulted in a swift knockout, tipping the scales in favor of Pakistan.

India retaliated in the following round when Himanshu Kaushik emerged victorious against Pakistan’s Faizan Khan, leveling the score at 1-1.

The highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan garnered significant attention, fueled by the pre-match tension between fighters from both nations.

During a pre-match press conference on Friday, tensions escalated as Rind and Singh engaged in a heated altercation, captured on video and widely circulated on social media platforms.
