Amidst PM Shehbaz’s ongoing three-day visit to Saudi Arabia, discussions centered on shared interests and appreciation for Saudi efforts in fostering investment in Pakistan.
Grateful for the warm reception in Riyadh and the Saudi delegation’s visit to Islamabad, PM Shehbaz extended an invitation for the crown prince to visit Pakistan. During his visit, PM Shehbaz addressed the World Economic Forum’s Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, underscoring Pakistan’s economic challenges.
Alongside engaging in the WEF meeting, PM Shehbaz met with Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, heralding a new chapter in economic relations between Islamabad and Riyadh. The Saudi minister reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to bolstering trade and investment in Pakistan, hinting at an imminent visit by a Saudi business delegation.
