Mahira Khan bags ‘Artist in Fashion’ award at EMIGALA

Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was honored with the “Artist in Fashion” award at the prestigious EMIGALA awards held in Dubai. The event, which took place at Festival Bay on Apr. 27 and 28, celebrated some of the world’s most prominent figures in fashion and beauty.

Khan graced the award ceremony alongside a star-studded lineup, including Brazilian-American beauty personality Camila Coelho, Lebanese-British fashion entrepreneur Karen Wazen, Dubai Bling star Loujain Adada, social media sensation Narins Beauty, Indian singer Arjit Singh, and others.

The EMIGALA awards recognize the influential contributions of global celebrities in the fields of beauty and fashion. Emi Gala Awards shared the news on Instagram, captioning a snapshot of Khan with her trophy, “The Artist in Fashion, Mahira Khan.”

Khan is widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s most accomplished actresses, earning acclaim for her contributions to the country’s entertainment industry. Rising to prominence with a series of successful drama serials, she later ventured into the realm of cinema, leaving an indelible mark, even beyond borders.

Her Bollywood debut alongside the legendary actor Shah Rukh Khan in the crime action film “Raees” in 2017 further solidified her status as a household name. Despite promising prospects in Indian cinema, her endeavors faced setbacks amidst deteriorating relations between India and Pakistan following the Uri attack in 2016.

In 2021, Khan reached another milestone by making her debut appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, representing L’Oreal Paris Hair from her homeland. Additionally, she has served as a brand ambassador for esteemed local brands such as Elan, Zohra Rahman, and Menahel and Mehreen.
