LAHORE: Thieves stole worth more than Rs55 millions of gold and cash from the house of a citizen in Defence area of Lahore, police said on Sunday.
Police further said, the thieves broke the window and entered into the house.
However, the police started an investigation after registering a case of theft.
It may be mention here that thieves stole worth more than Rs12 millions of gold in Defence area of Lahore in another incident of theft Saturday.
Thieves took bangles, necklaces, hooks, bands, diamond sets, rings and other items from the house.
Defence-B Police registered a case and started investigation.
Investigations are being carried out on various aspects of the incident of theft in the house, police said.
