Woman smuggler sending citizens abroad under guise of study visas arrested

A woman smuggler who was sending citizens abroad under the guise of study visas has been arrested.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Lahore, conducted a major operation and arrested the woman smuggler involved in sending citizens abroad without a license under the guise of study visas.

The crackdown against human smugglers is ongoing swiftly on the instructions of the Federal Minister of Interior, Mohsin Naqvi. During the operation, the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore arrested the female smuggler, Fauzia Tariq, from Gulberg, Lahore.

She was found involved in sending citizens abroad on the pretext of study visas without a license.

The suspect received over 11 million PKR from a citizen to send him to Azerbaijan on a study visa. However, she failed to send the citizen to Azerbaijan and went into hiding after taking the money.

The suspect has been arrested and the investigation has begun.
