Thieves dismantle and steal whole mobile tower in Larkana

LARKANA: In a remarkable theft, thieves have stolen an entire mobile tower in the suburban area of Larkana, belonging to a private mobile company.

The incident took place in the village of Bhoonbhutpur, Naudero, Larkana. The culprits dismantled the mobile tower, systematically cutting it from top to bottom with cutters. Along with the tower, the iron main gate and other equipment were also stolen.

The mobile phone company had assigned two security guards to safeguard its facilities in the area. Following the theft, a case has been registered at the Naudero Police Station on the complaint of Sajid Iqbal, the General Manager of the company, against the two watchmen.

Iqbal mentioned that prior to the discovery of the theft, the company had received several customer complaints about non-functioning mobile signals.

When company staff went to investigate these technical issues, they found that the tower, along with its associated installations, had completely disappeared.
