ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has unveiled the distribution arrangements for Zamzam water among pilgrims participating in the government’s Hajj scheme.
The ministry has entered into agreements with all airlines involved in transporting pilgrims, assigning them the responsibility to facilitate the collection of Zamzam water at designated points. The airlines tasked with this include Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Airlines, SereneAir, and AirSial.
Pilgrims are advised to pick up their portion of the holy water at their respective airports and include it with their checked luggage.
Specifically, pilgrims flying with PIA, except those departing from Quetta and Sukkar, are instructed to collect their Zamzam water directly from Jeddah and Madina airports. Meanwhile, those departing from Quetta and Sukkar will collect their Zamzam water upon their return at their respective airports in Pakistan.
For those traveling with Saudi Airlines, SereneAir, and AirSial, arrangements have been made to collect their Zamzam water at their arrival airports in Pakistan.
