ATC seeks government’s stance on Imran Khan’s request to meet sons

RAWALPINDI: An anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi on Wednesday called for a response from both the federal government and the administration of Adiala Jail regarding a petition filed by the detained former Prime Minister, Imran Khan.

In his petition, Khan has requested permission to meet with his sons.

The court has directed the federation, the Ministry of Interior, and the jail authorities to submit their responses concerning Khan’s plea, which asserts that meeting his sons Qasim and Sulaiman is his constitutional and legal right. Following this request, the court adjourned the hearing.

Imran Khan has proposed that the meeting with his sons should take place at Adiala Jail, emphasizing the personal and familial nature of the request.
