SIC MNA Sahibzada Ameer Sultan ‘abducted’ from Lahore residence

LAHORE: Sahibzada Ameer Sultan, a Member of the National Assembly representing Jhang for the Sunni Itehad Council (SIC), has reportedly been abducted by unknown assailants.

The incident took place late at night at his residence on Sarwar Road.

PTI Lahore’s General Secretary, Hafiz Zeeshan Rashid, confirmed the abduction, expressing deep concern for the safety of their MNAs in light of recent court verdicts. Zeeshan Rashid emphasized the escalating dangers faced by political figures in the region.

Meanwhile, SP Cantt Jhang, Owais Shafique, has stated that there is currently no information regarding the kidnapping and reassured that MNA Sahibzada Ameer Sultan has not been arrested.

The investigation into the matter is ongoing as authorities scramble to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
