Summer vacations extended in Islamabad

Following Sindh and Balochistan, the Federal Ministry of Education extended the summer vacations in Islamabad schools and colleges till August 4.

“Due to the intense hot and humid weather in the Federal Capital, it has been decided to extend summer vacation in ICT schools/colleges till August 4, 2024,” said a notification

The schools and colleges would reopen on August 5.

Earlier, the Sindh government extended the summer vacations for all schools in the province till August 14 due to the prevailing weather conditions.

The Sindh Education Department issued a notification according to which the new academic year in the province will now start on August 15.

According to the notification, all private and government schools will remain closed till August 14.
