Farah Deeba appointed Coordinator to Federal Minister for Culture, Heritage   

LAHORE: Former Member of the Provincial Assembly, Farah Deeba, has been appointed as Coordinator for Culture to the Minister for National Heritage and Culture, government of Pakistan.

“Ms Farah Deeba … is hereby appointed as Coordinator on Culture to the Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Government of Pakistan with immediate effect on honorary basis,” reads the notification.

Ms Farah Deeba expressed gratitude to the party leadership and said she would try to live up to the expectation and trust of the party leadership.

“I will try to live up to the trust placed in me by the party leadership,” said Ms Farah Deeba after receiving notification.

PML-N leader and former MPA Farah Deeba was appointed as the Coordinator for Culture and National Heritage and she was handed over the notification by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mr Ataullah Tarar.

A ceremony was held yesterday to mark the occasion. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, along with the guest of honor Begum Sajida Tarar, S.M. Sadiq, Farah Deeba, renowned writer Arshad Bukhari, Saadia Arshad, local party leaders, and a large number of people from various fields attended the event.

Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar presented the official notification of Farah Deeba’s appointment as the Coordinator for Heritage and Culture, and congratulated her, and expressed hope that she would fulfill her role effectively and contribute significantly to the promotion of the country’s culture and heritage.

Former MPA Farah Deeba thanked the party leadership for appointing her as the Coordinator for Culture and Heritage and pledged to live up to the trust placed in her by fulfilling her new responsibilities with dedication.
