Over 17 kg drugs seized, three arrested in ANF operations across Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered over 17 kg of drugs and arrested three individuals in four separate operations, according to an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Tuesday.

The seized drugs are estimated to be worth Rs1.6 million.

In one operation, ANF officers recovered 10.8 kg of hashish from the Quetta bus terminal in Karachi, resulting in the arrest of one suspect. Another operation in Attock led to the seizure of 5 kg of hashish from a suspect on Mansoor GT Road.

In a separate operation in Gilgit, 1 kg of hashish was confiscated from an individual, while 900 grams of ice (crystal meth) was recovered from a parcel booked for New Zealand at Lahore Airport.

Cases have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the arrested suspects, and investigations are ongoing.
