Son of Sindh CM’s aide booked for abuse and threats to Hyderabad police

HYDERABAD: Arsalan Bajari, son of Sindh Chief Minister’s Private Secretary, Saleem Bajari, has been booked by police in Hyderabad for allegedly threatening and mistreating officers during a routine snap-check.

According to police sources, a case was registered against Arsalan Bajari at Qasimabad police station. A spokesperson confirmed that the incident involved threats and verbal abuse directed at officers after they signaled him to stop his vehicle.

SSP Hyderabad, Dr. Farrukh Lanjar, stated that Bajari had insulted police personnel, declaring that any such disrespect toward officers would not be tolerated and that legal action would follow.

The altercation reportedly began when police requested Bajari to stop for a routine check. In response, Bajari allegedly became hostile, identifying himself as the son of Saleem Bajari. Witnesses recount him making remarks such as, “I’ll gouge out your eyes” and “You’re my servant.”

An officer on duty reportedly responded, asking for respect and identification, to which Bajari refused, saying, “You don’t need to know my name.” The young man allegedly continued, asserting his connections within law enforcement, saying, “I ride around with four Assistant Sub-Inspectors in my car.”

Authorities have stated that the investigation is underway and that appropriate actions will be pursued according to the law.
