Austin Swift Defends Fan in Travis Kelce Costume at Eras Tour, Stops Security from Ejecting Her

Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, stepped in to support a fan at Saturday’s Eras Tour concert in Indianapolis after security tried to remove her for wearing a Travis Kelce costume. The fan, dressed as the Kansas City Chiefs player in an “87” jersey, gloves, and helmet, drew the attention of security, who appeared to take issue with the helmet. A video on TikTok shows a guard attempting to escort the fan away, citing that the helmet was “not allowed.”

Austin, 32, intervened, telling the guard, “Hey, let’s not put hands on people,” before apologizing to the fan and complimenting her costume. After a friendly exchange, he added, “You guys enjoy the concert. Have a great night.” Austin even gifted her some guitar picks, as noted by the TikTok user who captioned the clip, “Austin Swift saving my sister from getting kicked out of Indy [night 2].”

The incident occurred as Travis Kelce, 35, made a surprise appearance at the concert to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Sources told Page Six that Taylor and her family were unaware of Kelce’s attendance, as his football schedule made it uncertain. “Andrea and Austin didn’t think Travis was going to be able to make it,” an insider revealed. “They were thrilled when he showed up.”

Kelce was determined to be there for Swift as she wrapped up the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour, reportedly making a last-minute decision to attend after practice. Taylor returned the favor by attending Kelce’s Chiefs game on Monday, where she celebrated a touchdown in style, wearing a Chiefs varsity jacket, denim shorts, and cowboy boots. She was seen cheering alongside her mom, Andrea, and Kelce’s mother, Donna, showing support for her boyfriend and his team.
