Keith Urban recently revealed the one bucket list destination he shares with his wife, Nicole Kidman, and their teenage daughters, Sunday and Faith: visiting the ancient pyramids in Egypt. Speaking on the Literally! With Rob Lowe podcast, Urban expressed his fascination with the wonders of the world, noting, “I’d like to see the pyramids…that’s on my bucket list.”
Having already visited iconic spots like Wadi Rum in Jordan, the Grammy winner joked that he might mistake the Egyptian pyramids for Las Vegas’s Luxor Hotel. The Urban-Kidman family has already traveled extensively due to Nicole’s filming schedule, giving their daughters a uniquely global upbringing. The family has lived temporarily in places like Morocco, France, Australia, and Vietnam, which has given Sunday and Faith “more passport stamps than most people in their eighties,” Kidman said in a recent interview with L’Officiel.
In his AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards speech, Urban emphasized the importance of keeping their family close, even while traveling for work. “Nicole and I both come from tight four-member family units, so we try and do the same with our girls,” he said, adding that Kidman makes sure the girls attend local schools for both learning and social connections wherever they go.
