Angelina Jolie and son Knox make stunning return to the red carpet after three years

Angelina Jolie turned heads at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles on November 17, but it was her rare public appearance with her son Knox Jolie-Pitt that truly stole the spotlight.

The 16-year-old, whom Jolie shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, joined his mom on the red carpet for the first time in over three years, looking dapper in a classic black suit and tie. Meanwhile, Angelina dazzled in a flowing yellow gown as the pair walked arm-in-arm, showcasing their close bond.

This marks Knox’s first major public outing since October 2021, when he accompanied his siblings Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, and twin sister Vivienne to the London premiere of Eternals. Despite their famous lineage, the Jolie-Pitt children have largely stayed out of the limelight—a decision Angelina has always supported.

“They’re especially shy, very private people, and they want to be private,” Angelina explained in a recent interview, highlighting her respect for their preference to stay away from Hollywood’s glare.

While Knox remains under the radar, his siblings are stepping into creative roles within the entertainment industry. Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, recently worked as assistant directors on Angelina’s upcoming biopic Maria. Meanwhile, Vivienne, 16, has embraced a passion for theater, serving as a producer’s assistant on the Broadway adaptation of The Outsiders, which Angelina is producing.

Angelina described Vivienne’s deep connection to the play, saying, “She appreciates all theater, but she knows what resonates with her.” The project has been a family affair, with Vivienne playing an integral role in the production process.

The Governors Awards marked a rare yet poignant glimpse into Angelina’s close-knit family life, as the actress continues to champion her children’s individuality and burgeoning careers.
