Court grants interim bail to PTI’s Alia Hamza in eight cases

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Alia Hamza was granted interim bail in eight cases by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Friday. The bail, valid until February 7, was granted against five surety bonds of Rs5,000 each.

The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, with Alia Hamza’s legal team, consisting of lawyers Dr. Ali Imran, Ansar Kayani, and Malik Tariq, presenting her case in court.

The charges against Alia Hamza stem from cases registered at various police stations, including Aabpara, Tarnol, Margalla, Secretariat, Karachi Company, Ramna, and Kohsar. The court has adjourned the next hearing until February 7.
