PTI founder dissolves Insaf Lawyers Forum, appoints new convener

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday officially dissolved the Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) following directives from party founder Imran Khan.

In a significant move, Intizar Hussain Panjutha has been appointed as the new convener of the forum with immediate effect.

Two separate notifications issued by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan confirmed the decision, outlining that all provincial bodies of the forum, along with its chief organizer, have been dissolved.

The notification further emphasized that no former office-bearer of the ILF would be authorized to exercise any powers or represent the forum in any capacity going forward.

Intizar Hussain Panjutha, the newly appointed convener, will be responsible for overseeing legal matters related to the PTI founder and the party’s legal issues in general. The party’s leadership expects the reorganization of its legal wing to streamline legal affairs amid ongoing challenges faced by the party leadership.

This development is viewed as part of broader efforts by PTI to restructure its internal bodies and address legal matters with a renewed focus.
