Experts have revealed King Charles’ intense work ethic, describing it as a major “addiction” that leaves little room for downtime. Royal expert Roya Nikkhah shared insights into the King’s relentless approach to his duties, stating that his puritanical work habits go far beyond the concept of a typical “working week.”

Nikkhah explained, “He doesn’t understand the concept of downtime.” For those working closely with him, relaxation is limited to a brief window at 11 a.m. on Sundays while he attends church, with work expected from 8 a.m. until midnight. This continuous pressure is said to have made his recent hospital stay particularly frustrating for the monarch.
Commenting on the situation, Daniela Elser humorously pointed out, “Even God took a day off to rest, and he was busy creating the universe, not reading endless briefing papers.” Despite this, Nikkhah believes that Charles has no intention of easing up on his demanding schedule, stating, “He just doesn’t feel like he’s ‘being King’ if he’s not out there doing it all.” This relentless drive to fulfill his duties is reportedly what fuels him.
