Hyundai Nishat has officially introduced the fourth-generation Tucson Hybrid in Pakistan, positioning the SUV as a powerful competitor to the Kia Sportage Hybrid and Haval PHEV. With its bold design and advanced features, the Tucson Hybrid aims to appeal to those seeking both performance and style.

The Tucson Hybrid’s modern exterior design includes a dark chrome-coated front grille, Parametric Jewel Hidden Signature DRLs, LED rear combination lamps, and 2-tone bumpers. It measures 4640 mm in length, 1865 mm in width, and 1665 mm in height, offering ample space for passengers and luggage. Its 2755 mm wheelbase and 181 mm ground clearance ensure a smooth and comfortable ride across various terrains. The vehicle is equipped with either 19-inch alloy wheels for the AWD variant or 18-inch wheels for the FWD variant, providing a solid foundation for handling different road conditions.
Under the hood, the Tucson Hybrid features a 1.6L Smartstream G1.6 T-GDi HEV engine, generating 178 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque, combined with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) delivering 47.7 kW and 264 Nm of torque. The hybrid powertrain produces a total output of 232 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque, supported by a 270-volt lithium-ion battery with a 1.49 kWh capacity. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, offering both all-wheel and front-wheel drive options depending on the variant.
For driving flexibility, the Tucson Hybrid features multiple terrain modes—Snow, Mud, and Sand—exclusive to the AWD variant. Additionally, it offers drive modes such as Eco, Sport, Smart, and Baby across all variants, allowing drivers to adapt the vehicle’s performance to their preferences and the road conditions.
Inside, the Tucson Hybrid offers a high-tech cabin equipped with dual 12.3-inch TFT LCD displays, a head-up display (available on the AWD variant), dual-zone climate control, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. The interior is designed for comfort, with leather seats, ventilated and heated front seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a smart key system with push-start functionality. Higher variants come with additional amenities, including a 360-degree camera, fingerprint recognition for engine start, memory seats, and a powered smart tailgate.
Safety is a key focus for Hyundai, with the Tucson Hybrid boasting a wide array of advanced driver assistance systems. These include Blind Spot Detection, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Safe Exit Assist, among others. The vehicle also includes Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, and a Surround View Monitor Camera system to enhance driving security.
The fourth-generation Tucson Hybrid’s combination of style, performance, and safety features makes it a standout option for Pakistani consumers looking for a versatile, eco-friendly SUV.
