LAHORE: Lahore police on Sunday arrested a man for purportedly raping at gunpoint a student of a medical college at a home in the provincial capital.
According to a superintendent of police (investigation), the incident occurred in the Nishter Colony neighbourhood.
The victim later approached the police and on her indication, the suspect, later identified as one Habib Ullah, was arrested.
The young woman will now undergo a medical test while the suspect has been shifted to a police station for further investigation, the police said.
