RAWALPINDI: PTI senior leader and former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was shifted from Adiala Jail to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) on Wednesday morning after his condition deteriorated.
Pervaiz Elahi was suffering from heart pain and chest infection. His initial medical check-up was done at the prison hospital.
According to jail sources, Pervaiz Elahi was transferred to RIC due to worsening medical condition. His medical checkup, including necessary medical tests, will be done at the RIC.
